I got my computer back today! I am so happy, even if I am annoyed it took over a week. But it's not making noise anymore, and the CPU's been running under 60°C so I am happy.

Secondly, does anyone have a copy of Torchwood with subs? I realized the other night that part of the reason I had so much so much trouble retaining the first time I watched it is that I really need the visual cues to help my faulty audio processing along. (Most of the stuff I watch is anime in Japanese, where the subs are already a given.) I don't watch much in the way of TV in English, or when I do it's stuff like So You Think You Can Dance or Mythbusters where the audio is not so important. I actually haven't tried to follow any kind of English-speaking TV show with a plot for...probably 5 years or so now, which was before I started RP, so it's not really a surprise I didn't notice.

TL;DR: Does anyone have Torchwood with subs? Mine doesn't have any.

You'll be watching it on your computer, won't you? Otherwise I would have suggested watching it (on TV) with Closed Captioning on. I watch all TV that way and pick up a lot more from dialogue that way. My dad has come to watch Doctor Who with Closed Captioning on so the accents don't confuse him. *g*

I wish I had Torchwood with subs to send you.
